Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide on-call, as-needed towing services for emergency and other special events to clear roadways of vehicles (i.e. stalled, abandoned, stuck, etc.) on Primary, Secondary and Interstate Roadways within the Culpeper District. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible responsive bidder per Lot. Bidder may bid on one, two, or all three Lots. Lot 1: Charlottesville Residency – Primary and Secondary routes within Albemarle, Greene, Madison Counties, and Interstate 64 (approximately 99.9MM to 130.2MM). Lot 2: Louisa Residency – Primary and Secondary routes within Louisa, Fluvanna, Orange Counties, and Interstate 64 (approximately 130.2MM to 147.8MM). Lot 3: Warrenton Residency - Primary and Secondary routes within Culpeper, Fauquier, Rappahannock Counties, and Interstate 66 (approximately 14.7MM to 36.8MM).
