Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Ensure the Center achieves and maintains licensure in accordance with industry recognized best practices and as required to fully achieve the County’s objectives for the Center. The minimum level of licensure would be as an ASAM Level 3.7 facility (Medical Detox/Chemical Dependency Unit for Adults) and a Crisis Stabilization Residential service as regulated by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (VDBHDS). 2. Provide admission screening of potential patients, seven days per week, including afterhours admissions when an individual is transported to the Center via emergency services (Police, EMS, etc.). These will be individuals who are voluntarily seeking services. 3. Provide 24-hour nursing care and access to physician or prescriber services (access to physician or prescriber may be in person or via telemedicine) as required for licensure. 4. Provide medication-assisted withdrawal management as appropriate, with access to medications 24/7. 5. Provide detoxification without medication assistance, if appropriate for in-patient services. 6. Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment. 7. Provide individual, group, and family therapy, as appropriate. 8. Provide case coordination and discharge planning. 9. Provide access to peer support services. 10. Provide overall administrative management of the Center, including compliance with all licensing requirements and meeting all medical and industry standards for the management and administration of the licensed program. 11. Develop, implement, and manage plans for patient care, including medical direction, nursing, pharmacy, etc. 12. Be responsible for all billings to patients, insurance companies, and other funding sources. 13. Be responsible for patient registration, medical services, medical records, etc. 14. Develop, implement, and maintain a marketing plan to promote the referral of appropriate patients to the Center from a variety of community organizations, including outpatient treatment centers, recovery support organizations, medical providers, and counseling organizations. 15. Work with local addiction services and mental health providers to coordinate patient release to providers after patients leave the Center.
