Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Metro Aviation Unit intends to obtain a Piper M350 or approved equal, with the following requirements: a. Model year 2017 or newer with complete logbooks and no damage history. Airframe, engine, and propeller hours shall not exceed 800 hours. b. Basic equipment and features shall be equivalent to all standard equipment provided with a Piper M350. Features and equipment include: i. Single piston engine, low wing configuration. ii. Turbocharged Lycoming TIO-540 iii. 3 Blade constant speed propeller with propeller de-icing iv. Retractable tricycle landing gear. v. Aircraft certified for flight into known icing (FIKI) vi. Six seat aircraft plus baggage, with folding or removable seating for cargo transport. Leather seats and carpet flooring. vii. Garmin G1000NXI with synthetic vision, TAS (Traffic Awareness System), TAW-B (Terrain Awareness), and ADS-B in/out, or approved equal. viii. Aircraft shall be equipped with a Garmin GFC700 autopilot system capable of coupled WAAS instrument approaches. ix. Flight Stream 510 or approved equal to provide connectivity between G1000 avionics and pilot’s electronic flight applications (Fore Flight / Garmin Pilot). x. Cabin Air Conditioning. Broker Responsibilities 1. The Successful Offeror shall guarantee the aircraft meets following requirements prior to acceptance by the Metro Aviation Unit: a. The aircraft shall be fully certified, with all airworthiness directives met, as of the date of acceptance. Aircraft shall be fully Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) certified, in accordance with aviation regulations and procedures, effective no more than seven calendar days prior to acceptance by Henrico County. The IFR certification shall include, but not be limited to, the pitot-static system, transponder, encoder, and Very High Frequency Omni-Directional Range (VOR) receivers. b. The aircraft come complete with the current databases for each piece of avionics equipment. The Successful Offeror shall provide the original configuration of the plane with a Garmin subscription. c. Include one (1) copy of the FAA-approved aircraft flight manual or owner's handbook, an Airworthiness Certificate, Avionics Manuals, Aircraft, engine, and complete propeller logbooks. All documents shall be current as of the date of acceptance of the aircraft. d. Come with a fully executed bill of sale, clean title, and FAA registration for the aircraft as configured and accepted. The tail number for this aircraft must be applied to the aircraft using standard industry practices. e. Have a current weight and balance of the aircraft as fully configured and accepted, with pilot, co-pilot, center passenger, and aft passenger seats installed.
