Statement of Work (SOW)
Supply and delivery of Grade D base (33c) crusher run limestone gravel and 18-24¿ machined rip rap for Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge
1.0 Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge) located at 550 Refuge Lane, New Johnsonville, TN has one road/ levee project on the Duck River Unit near the Tennessee River that will receive repairs in 2022. The Refuge is in the process of repairing severely damaged roads/levees from recent flood events in order to keep these areas accessible to the public.
2.0 Scope
The Contractor shall deliver 1,800 tons of Grade D base (33) crushed limestone gravel and 2,500 tons of 18-24¿ machined rip rap to repair these areas between July 18 and November 14, 2022. The Contractor shall supply and deliver this aggregate material and supply all labor to deliver the material. Crushed limestone is to be tailgate spread; thickness is to be determined by equipment operator on site at time of delivery. Rip Rap will be spot dumped at the direction of Refuge staff.
3.0 Period of Performance
The Performance Period of this contract is July 18, 2022 through November 14, 2022. Material is expected to be delivered between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Later hours and weekends may be permitted with prior coordination with refuge staff on delivery.
3.1 Hours of Operations
Delivery shall be during regular business hours which are as 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except recognized Federal holidays. Later hours and weekends may be permitted with prior coordination with refuge staff on delivery.
3.2 Delivery
Delivery shall be to the Duck River Unit Sub-Headquarters.
