IV. SPECIFICATIONS / CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS: A. REINFORCING STEEL: a. All reinforcing steel shall be deformed and shall conform to ASTM A615, Grade 60 except for steels noted as Corrosion Resistant Reinforcing (CRR) which shall conform to Section 223 of 2020 VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications (see Attachment A). b. All reinforcing bar dimensions on the detailed drawings are to centers of the bars except where otherwise noted and are subject to fabrication and construction tolerances. All steel shall conform to reinforcing steel schedule sheet (Attachment D) c. 3,960 lbs. Substructure MMFX Steel (Attachment B) d. 3,883 lbs. Partial Steel as directed (Attachment D). e. VDOT requires 10 extra rebar of each size noted on schedule. f. Unit of Measure shall be TOTAL for all requested materials on this line
