Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide armed and unarmed, uniformed security services in and around City of Virginia Beach properties as indicated by site specifications. Contract security personnel will provide a variety of services, implementing Contractor’s security objectives according to policies and procedures which may include, but are not limited to, the following general tasks: • Entry and egress access control • Roving patrols of interior and exterior building areas • Use of an electronic checkpoint system • Visitor and building employee identification verification. • Providing entries into logbooks • Filing incident and daily operating reports • Monitoring and responding to building intrusion detection systems • Operation of Computer and CCTV equipment • Use of a 2-way radio • Monitoring alarms and fire detection equipment • Responding as necessary to support other life safety duties as identified in post order and standard operating procedures. • Utilize Crisis Intervention Training • Other specific tasks as required.
