The anticipated performance period is from August 1st, 2025, through December 15th, 2025. The project must not interfere with nesting seasons and must be fully completed by March 31st, 2025.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE and is conducted under the procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13, incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03. The NAICS code is 115310 and the small business size standard is $11.5m. Instructions to offeror:
All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The contractor must show within the proposal relevant experience by demonstrate the ability to successfully complete as followed; use brush saws and/or chainsaws to cut and drop non-commercial trees within a lowland spruce-fir forest across approximately 215 acres, leaving reserve trees spaced approximately 8 ft apart. There are so-called reserve areas within each treatment unit where no trees will be cut. The Contractor must identify and `skip¿ the reserve areas designated within a treatment unit. Furthermore, see performance work statement and attachments for additional details to create technical approach to the standard Award will be made as a firm-fixed-price contract.
The basis of contract will be on technical approach and Price, as acceptability for this requirement below. Award of the contract will be made to a responsible source pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1.
