The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and materials, as necessary, to perform the services as described herein: Septic system was installed per the attached permit (PERMIT Number). Subsequent to installation there has been at least 6 inches of subsidence from the ground surface for each of the 4 lateral drainfield lines (70’ long and 3’ wide) as well as around the septic and pump tanks. Address the subsidence/settling in the new drainfield area so there is no longer subsidence in the 4 lateral trench areas and bring the soil up to ground level (approximately 6-8”). Address any settling around the septic tank, pump chambers or other septic system features This will require adding additional topsoil to the four subsided trench areas and any areas of settling to above listed septic features. Please grade, seed and straw any areas where soil was added. Ultimately work should stabilize site to prevent further erosion and settling around newly installed septic system/drainfield area and pump chamber by adding additional topsoil, grading, seeding, and applying straw. Control construction runoff with proper practices so as not to become a nuisance to the owner or to neighboring properties or cause sediment to be discharged into state waters and drainage ditches. Any construction debris must also be removed from the site and disposed of properly. Please keep all vehicular traffic from the septic tank and dbox. Avoid any removal or disturbance of soil profile within the existing drainfield. Example diagram: this is not to scale and is only an excerpt of the current design. Add soil as indicated in “Red”
