Snow Removal Equipment, Material and Personnel Requirements: 1. The Contractor shall provide services using a minimum ¾ ton truck. This truck shall be equipped with a plow with total positioning control from the cab and be equipped with a chemical spreader. DMVCC further requires the Contractor to provide services using a backhoe or front end loader with operator. This requirement facilitates snow removal at the loading dock area and to pile snow should accumulation be heavy. 2. The Contractor shall provide a list of equipment available for use at DMVCC. Availability of sufficient equipment will be a factor in determining award. 3. Ice Melt/Surface Icing: a. Unless authorized by the Director of Buildings and Grounds or designee, in advance, pretreatment of paved surfaces is not required. Chemical pretreatment shall be separately priced and not included with the push rate.
