The Government intends to issue one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract to US Fire Pump Company, L.L.C. who has been deemed the sole source capable of meeting the Government's needs however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Service rental from vendor to provide one (1) trailer mounted 10,000 GPM Standby Submersible Fire Pump.
LOCATION: Building CEP-198, Norfolk Station Norfolk (NSN), Norfolk, VA 23511
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Date of Award + 364 Days with three (3) option years plus an option to to extend an additional six (6) months after expiration of the last option year.
All potential vendors must completely fill in the document attached labelled Attachment (A) capability statement that is included in this posting.
DESCRIPTION: This requirement is for the rental of a submersible fire pump in accordance with the specifications in the Request for Quote, N4215825QE024.
All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Government. By submitting a quotation, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quotation. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the vendors at any time prior to award. By submission of a quotation, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the time the quote was submitted, prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by visiting https://www.sam.gov.
