Specifications include, but are not limited to: This RFI is designed to gather current market insight and industry capabilities related to telecommunications expense management solutions (TEMS) including architecture/infrastructure, support, and the associated service delivery models and managed services. VITA defines TEMS as inclusive of: Sourcing (management of telecommunications contracts), Ordering and provisioning (service catalog management etc.), Asset inventory and asset management, Usage management (validation and optimization), Carrier payment (invoice reconciliation, VITA-carrier dispute resolution, accounts payable and cost allocations), Re-billing to customers (accounts receivable, billing and customer- VITA dispute resolution), and Reporting (transactional, operational, managerial, and executive information/decision support). VITA sits at the center of the Commonwealth’s strategy to improve service delivery to citizens. As the agency responsible for providing the information technology and services that enable government to serve the citizens of the Commonwealth, VITA must keep pace with new technologies and how Virginians are using those technologies in their daily lives.
