POSE The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals for the provision of integrated medical, security, and travel assistance services to the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar), located on the Education City campus in Doha, Qatar. Term: The initial contract term shall be three (3) years, with the option of up to two (2) three (3)-year renewals, to be exercised upon mutual signed agreement by authorized representatives of both parties. A. COOPERATIVE PROCUREMENT: It is the intent of this solicitation and resulting contract(s) to allow for cooperative procurement at the Contractor’s discretion. Accordingly, any public body, public or private health, or educational institution, or lead-issuing institution's affiliated foundations may participate in any resulting contract(s) if authorized by the Contractor. B. OPTIONAL-USE CONTRACT: The resulting contract(s) will be an optional use contract. VCU is in no way required to make purchases from the Contractor and may in its sole discretion purchase the identical and/or similar goods/services from other sources. Any estimates/quantities contained herein do not represent a purchase commitment by VCU.
