Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to receive competitive offers and award a statewide contract for development of the Judicial DUI Benchbook. The WTSC intends to award a contract to annually perform the following scope of services: Review, analyze, and summarize new state and federal cases affecting impaired driving cases. Review, analyze, and summarize new administrative rules, court rules, and statutes. Collect, revise, and incorporate new and revised forms, checklists, and other resource tools for the revised Benchbook. Provide regular, electronic updates on legal, legislative, and other updates affecting impaired driving and the content of the DUI Benchbook. Expand the content of the DUI Benchbook to include topics of interest to stakeholders. Work with judges, hearing examiners, and other stakeholders to improve the content and utility of the DUI Benchbook. Meet with the WTSC Program Manager, Washington traffic safety officials, and others as necessary to ensure that feedback is informed by the practitioners and users of the DUI Benchbook. Incorporate all updates and other revisions in a document suitable for posting on the Administrative Office of the court’s website and digital sharing. Work with the Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors and the Administrative Office of the Courts to post the updated Benchbook and all electronic updates for distribution to judges and stakeholders.
