Specifications include, but are not limited to: Jensen Point Park is the easternmost point of Burton Acres, which encompasses approximately 68.84 acres. Burton Acres is undeveloped forest land with hiking trails. Jensen Point is across the street from Burton Acres and provides a boathouse, parking area, public boat launch to Quartermaster Harbor, picnic areas, small beach activities, and a public restroom. The park is open dawn to dusk seven days a week. A portion of the boathouse has been home to a kayak/paddle board/camping management concessionaire whose contract will be expiring. That portion of the boathouse measures 12’4” wide x 70’11-3/8” long and angled height of 12’ – 16’. The other portion of the boathouse stores the boats for the Vashon Island Rowing Club, a nonprofit partner of the Vashon Park District. The Vashon Island Rowing Club, in addition to the Burton Beach Rowing Club, hold practices and regattas out of Jensen Point Park.
