Key Peninsula Middle School is an existing 6th thru 8th grade middle school that will undergo a modernization, re-configuration and addition(s) to update the facility originally built in the early 1980's. The existing school is a 1-story, 57,243 square foot tilt-up concrete building with a 9,263 square foot cast-in-place concrete gymnasium for a total existing building square footage of 66,506 square feet. The 11,036 GSF of new building additions include an administration area with a new exterior columned entry pavilion and canopy, a classroom addition, and a gymnasium addition.
