The awarded consultant will perform a detailed site and needs analysis, accounting for the physical location, and produce a maximum of three project options, including estimated cost, schedules and coordinate with WSPRC, stakeholders and partners to select a preferred option, to Schematic Design, Design Development, Contract Documents, permitting with all Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)’s, for a competitive public bid and construction, Bidding Assistance, Construction Contract Administration, and Project Closeout. Based on the results of the detailed analysis determined with WSPRC, stakeholders and partners, Bidders shall design a bridge approximately 250’ over the Wenatchee River connecting the North and South areas of the Park. WSPRC anticipates a clear bridge width of ~ 8’-0” with capacity for UTV’s and snow equipment weighing approximately 3,000 lbs. There are existing constructions from a pre-existing bridge structure that must be evaluated for potential reuse or removal. The new bridge must accommodate WSPRC, stakeholders and partners activities and use - including but not limited to interpretive activities, potential additional parking, river access, connections and enhancements with existing trails as well as providing for a network of ADA access opportunities.
