1. Wet Weather Treatment Station (WWTS): Work includes construction of a new treatment station to treat CSO flows before they are discharged to waterways. The WWTS will be sized to comply with the requirements of less than one uncontrolled overflow per year on a 20 year rolling basis. Preconstruction services are targeted to start in 2026 and Construction services are targeted to start in 2028-2029. 2. Effluent Conveyance and Outfall: Work includes construction of the effluent conveyance from the WWTS, connecting to a new outfall. The new outfall will be constructed that discharges into either the East Waterway or Elliott Bay. Preconstruction services are targeted to start in 2026 and Construction services are targeted to start in 2029. 3. Influent Conveyance: The influent conveyance package will include multiple components with construction of pipelines; modifications to diversion structures and regulator stations; and a possible connection to the Elliott Bay Interceptor (EBI). At the existing Hanford #2, Lander, Kingdome, and King Street (HLKK) CSO outfalls, there may be construction of new diversion structures and modifications to existing regulator structures for direction of flows. Additional conveyance will be constructed to direct flow from the to the new WWTS. The influent conveyance package may include a diversion structure and connections to the EBI. Preconstruction services are targeted to start in 2026-2027 and Construction services are targeted to start in 2027-2028.
