Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1. Snow Event Notification: 1.1.1. Notification of a need to perform snow removal work at the STIA will be provided: 1.1.1.1. Via phone to numbers provided by the Contractor. 1.1.1.1.1. In the phone call the Port’s representative will provide the time and location by which the Contractor is expected to arrive to SEA. 1.1.1.2. Contractor shall be on-site and ready to perform required snow removal services within two hours of notice from the Port that snow removal services are needed. Contractor equipment operators shall check in with Port Coordinator and provide name, shift they are working and snow equipment operating (check in sheet will be provided). Equipment operations shall also show driver’s license and Port issued badge. 1.2. Snow Event work: 1.2.1. Each work zone will be coordinated by a designated Port employee (Port Coordinator). 1.2.2. When possible, the Port prefers shifts are designed for a period of time no longer than twelve (12) hours. If the vendor cannot accommodate shifts of twelve (12) hours and longer shifts are needed, the Port requires a safety manager is provided by contractor throughout the duration of the shift. Please see Attachment F for detailed requirements. 1.2.3. The Port Coordinator will bring the Contractor’s staff to the work area and provide verbal guidance on the sectors that require snow removal work. 1.2.4. The Port Coordinator is the only authority on the ground who will provide the Contractor with guidance on the sectors that require snow removal. 1.2.4.1. It is critical that the Contractor’s staff follow the guidance provided by the Port Coordinator to ensure the safety of employees and equipment. 1.2.4.2. Upon completion of work in the designated sector the Port Coordinator will guide the Contractor’s staff to the next work sector. 1.3. Completion of work in a Snow Event: 1.3.1. The Port’s Coordinator will inform the Contractor of the task completion. 1.3.2. Upon work completion the Contractor will provide the coordinator with the list of vehicles used and the work hours.
