3.1 The Vendor shall have motor road grader 140G or equivalent with no larger than 14’ mowboard, tire size 1400-24, or and be able to supply themselves tire chains, other consumable parts, and fuel. All tires must be chained. If the tire size is 1400-24 the City can supply the chains. Graders shall be full of fuel and ready to work, with Vendor providing their own fuel. 3.2 The Vendor shall provide grader operators for two 12 hour shifts working 5:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. and OR 5:30 P.M. to 5:30 A.M. 3.3 The Vendor shall work out of the Street Maintenance Facility located at 901 N. Nelson St. Spokane, WA 99202. 3.4 Road Graders must be able to work on city streets with lights and a flashing hazard (work light). Road Graders shall be able to work continuously until the snow emergency event ends and released by the City of Spokane Street Department. 3.5 Qualified selected Vendor will be required to meet with the City Supervisor or Operating Engineer prior to initiating any work. 4. DESCRIPTION OF WORK REQUIRED. Work required includes activities described in the Scope of Services and may include, but not be limited to, the following description list: 4.1 The Vendor/Operator will be working under the direct supervision of Street Department 4.2 The Vendor shall perform work in compliance with requirements of all applicable codes and standards of governing authorities having jurisdiction, including provision for adequate protection to persons and property by means of insurance, traffic, etc.
