It is the City’s intent to select a consultant based on qualifications and abilities of the firm and key project individuals. The selected vendor will be responsible for organizing and hosting a variety of youth, family, and adult bicycle safety education and encouragement programs including, but not limited to, youth urban bicycling skills camps, school-based bike rodeos, traffic garden pop-ups, educational family bicycle rides, and youth earn-a-bike safety and mechanics programming at a maximum of $45,000 through September 30, 2025. Additional funding through September 30, 2026 for tasks one through six (as described in the Technical Specifications), is contingent on award from granting agency. Community and adult bike safety education and events (task seven in the Technical Specifications) are dependent upon funding availability and program direction for a maximum of $100,000.
