King County Department of Natural Resources (DNRP) Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) desires to enter into a single or multiple Contract(s) for dewatering polymer (Product) for operational use at the wastewater facilities within the Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD). The resulting Contracts are for terms of six (6) years to supply sufficient quantities of polymer to treat digested sludge for each respective facility. The services will be contracted through this ITB which is subdivided into two (2) Categories: Category 1 West Section, consisting primarily of West Treatment Plant; and Category 2, East Section, consisting of South Treatment Plant and Brightwater Treatment Plant. Qualifying Supplier(s) shall be permitted to bid on either Category 1, Category 2, or both. Contract Information for Category 1 and Category 2 - For Category 1: Contract will be for a family of Products to be used at West Point Treatment Plant at all times throughout the year. Supplier shall supply sufficient quantities of polymer to treat approximately 14,000 dry tons per year of digested sludge. Category 1 is limited to emulsion polymers. No dry polymer products shall be used. For Category 2: Contract will be for a family of Products to be used at South Treatment Plant and Brightwater Treatment Plant at all times throughout the year. Supplier shall supply sufficient quantities of polymer to treat approximately 15,000 dry tons per year of digested sludge for South Treatment Plant and approximately 3,200 dry tons per year of digested sludge for Brightwater Treatment Plant, for a combined total of approximately 18,200 dry tons per year of digested sludge.
