This notice is for market research purposes to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of interested Small Business firms. Responses to this Sources Sought may shape the acquisition strategy in developing a competitive requirement. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future or potential solicitation. It is the intent of the VA to use the information gathered for market research purposes only. Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West, Network Contracting Office 20, is conducting market research for a construction contract to Remodel Bldg 88 CLC Space. This remodel shall include remodeling within the building envelope (A, B, C, D, E Wings), work on exterior hardscape and softscape, a Tub-room, a building wide Nurse Call system, Oxygen supply and distribution system, and the installation of patient lifts as well as general construction work that is required to install these healthcare systems and components. Work shall include Mechanical, Electrical, Masonry, Seismic Non-Structural, fire systems, communication, Engineering, Commissioning and all such disciplines of work that will be required to install the systems and components for this project. Work is located Roseburg VA Medical Center at 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd Roseburg, OR 97471. For the principal components of work see the attached DRAFT statement of work, specifications, and drawings. Documents are currently in draft state and industry comment / suggestions are greatly encouraged and welcomed. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
