DAVIS AVENUE BRIDGE, located in Randolph County, West Virginia. The structure carries Davis Avenue over Tygart Valley River and is located approximately 0.44 mile south of Randolph Avenue in the city of Elkins in Randolph County. This project shall consist of the preparation of contract plans and related documents for the construction of a new bridge at the current location, while maintaining traffic on existing routes during construction. The professional services include related documents, geotechnical services, and traffic engineering services. A Design Study will not be a part of these services. The Consultant shall reference DD-681 and develop the appropriate Traffic Management Plan, which will also be required. The Consultant shall reference DD-506 and use pollution prevention and discharge reduction methods in the design. As part of the WVDOH's desire to facilitate safety discussions for transportation projects, the Consultant shall complete and submit to the Traffic Engineering Division, the Safety Assessment for Every Roadway (SAFER) Form for the project as part of the Preliminary Field Review and Final Office Review. NEPA Documentation will be handled In-House by the Technical Support Division. Post Design Services will be by separate Agreement.
