These devices, the upgrade and or reconfiguration of can only utilize original Motorola parts to ensure mission critical operation and valid warranty. Vendors other than Motorola Solutions do not have access to the proprietary specifications and procedures used. • Given the unique and demanding requirements of a public safety radio system, Motorola Solutions has worked hard to certify that its products are configured to provide mission critical communications at all times. The introduction of another vendor's uncertified and untested equipment into the radio system could potentially affect system performance in unknown ways. • Motorola Solutions is unable to guarantee system performance for uncertified configurations. The introduction of uncertified equipment into any portion of the radio network could adversely affect the entire system to the point of rendering it inoperable.
