Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1.1 Vendor will partner at a minimum with the West Virginia Department of Education, Special Education Services, to provide state-wide training on secondary transition and evidenced-based interventions and practices as requested.; 4.1.2 Vendor will provide state-wide training to education personnel in the navigation of websites including at a minimum: pre-ETS service requirements, Pathways WV .org, and the Help & Hope WV website. Vendor must provide cumulative monthly progress reports to include at a minimum the total number of training sessions conducted, total number of participants, and a brief summary of topics or an agenda for each session.; 4.1.3 Vendor will assist in job development and provide training for school districts in setting up community-based work exploration programs for students with disabilities ages 14-21, as needed in each of West Virginia's school districts. All work exploration programs must adhere to the West Virginia statutes related to the employment of youth under the age of 18 (WV Code §§21-6-1 through 21-6-8a). Vendor must provide cumulative monthly progress reports to include at a minimum a list of sites where students are placed, the total number of students at each site, and a brief summary of transition activities or skills addressed.; 4.1.4 Vendor will partner with agencies and organizations such as the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources to create opportunities for students with disabilities to enhance their leadership and technical skills. Vendor will plan, create and assist with implementation of products or services similar to those used to rejuvenate West Virginia State Parks. Vendor must provide cumulative monthly progress reports to include at a minimum a list of sites where students are placed, the total number of students at each site, and a brief summary of transition activities or skills addressed.; 4.1.5 Vendor will partner with agencies and organizations such as the HatfieldMcCoy Regional Recreation Authority to provide opportunities for students with disabilities ages 14-21 youth in special education programs across West Virginia to gain authentic work experiences. Vendor will plan and develop written procedures outlining skills and safety requirements related at a minimum to leaf and trash removal, working in gift shops and trailheads across the state. Vendor must provide cumulative monthly progress reports to include at a minimum a list of sites where students are placed, the total number of students at each site, and a brief summary of transition activities or skills addressed.; 4.1.6 Vendor will develop an online resource bank which includes hyperlinks to a variety of secondary transition assessments, interest inventories, and online self-assessment tools for career development and self-determination. Vendor may use pre-established websites and/or collaborate with local/national technical assistance centers, institutions of higher education, and West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services. This resource bank will focus on assisting students and educational professionals in the development of secondary transition goals for working, learning and living after exiting from high school. Vendor must provide cumulative monthly progress reports to include at a minimum a list of collaborators or source citation for each resource in the bank.
