Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau of Family Assistance in the Clay County office is soliciting bids to establish an open-end contract for Snow Removal and Cindering Services. 3.1.1 The vendor shall plow and de-ice the parking lot and sidewalk. 3.1.1.1 Reimbursement will be determined by the following snowfall totals per removal: 2 inches and under, 2.1 inches to 6 inches, 6.1 inches to 10 inches, 10.1 inches to 14 inches and over 14 inches. 3.1.1.2 Cindering will be done immediately after plowing. 3.1.1.3 In the event of an evening/night snowfall, parking lot and sidewalk will be clear by 8:00 AM EST. 3.1.1.4 Snow will be disposed of in accordance with all applicable state and local regulations, ordinances, and anti-pollution laws, including OSHA. 3.1.1.5 If completed during normal business hours, the vendor will obtain approval that the job has been completed to the agency’s satisfaction before leaving the site.
