The contract generated from this RFP will be for a provider to establish and maintain a CRC located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. DOC may use the results of this procurement process to add additional locations: however, it is not a requirement that Proposers be willing to provide additional locations. DOC may choose to relocate or close locations throughout the term of the contract(s) for CRC services. The addition of locations will be upon mutual agreement between DOC and the service provider. The estimated number of individuals in the Milwaukee area who may need access to the CRC is 2,000 per year. The CRC established by contract from this RFP must be able to assess and assist individuals releasing from DOC institutions with the services outlined in Wisconsin Statute 301.098(3). The CRC must have a physical location within Milwaukee County. Although the CRC will primarily offer services to individuals who are being released from a state correctional institution to community supervision in Milwaukee County, the statute also allows CRC access to individuals who are released from Wisconsin correctional institutions upon completion of their sentence. The CRC will be an initial point of contact for the following required services: • Health Services • Identification Services • Financial Services • Housing Services • Employment Services • Educational Services • DCC community supervision (provided by DOC in the CRC)
