Specifications include, but are not limited to: This material is utilized for winter sand/salt production and must meet ASTM 33 specifications.Supplier shall have a minimum of 15,000 tons Concrete Sand availablein single stockpile/location. Supplier must set aside an area of adequate space, reasonably close to material stockpile, forthe County to set up a power screen, salt conveyor,front end loader,and salt truck to produce sand/salt material. Material must be accessible by the County week days during normal hours of operation.Waupaca County uses between 5,000 to 17,000 tons of Concrete Sand per year/season, with a 10,000 ton 6-year average. Material will be purchased as needed.Material will be scaled at Waupaca County shops, and weight of salt deducted. Supplier shall provide a sieve analysis report guaranteeing material meets ASTM 33 specifications with bid proposal.County shall supply loader/operator to load screen/trucks. Pricing shall be FOB designated quarry.
