Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replace all existing components with new components with the exception of the tracks and track supports. This shall include but not be limited to all moving parts, chain, trollies or carriages, sprockets, belts, bearings, hardware, motors, controls and controls wiring. The existing track trollies and parts are not correctional grade. New trollies and ancillary components shall be White Conveyors Total Inmate Property Storage system containing all steel components or equivalent. The main support structure and tracks shall be cleaned and reused. Check existing tracks and supports for deficiencies. Tighten any loose components and notify owner of any other deficiencies. Contractor shall be responsible for all wiring and electrical terminations as needed. Contractor shall reuse existing building power supply from existing units to feed new units. Contractor may use existing property conveyor room for the duration of the project as a staging area to store tools and equipment. Contractor shall not start project until all components are on hand or are available in order minimize the duration of the onsite work. Contractor shall also work consecutive business days Mondays through Fridays once the project has started in order to minimize the duration of the onsite work and disruption to jail activities. Contractor shall site clear all old components and debris. Provide start up, testing and up to one hour of staff training on the new equipment and controls. Provide a one year warranty on parts and labor.
