Specifications include, but are not limited to: MCDA seeks innovative approaches and best practices in organizing, structuring, or delivering programs to Milwaukee County senior citizens, both today and in the future. MCDA seeks to provide quality programming to Milwaukee County older adults and requests information from qualified individuals, corporations or business entities, whether profit or non-profit, to provide services, implementation and professional management of senior centers. Preferably, programming will be compatible with existing programs provided in the senior centers including social, recreational and health and wellness programs. Programming can take place within the county owned buildings as listed above, or in other appropriate settings as provided by Offerors. MCDA’s goal is to respond to the current needs of today’s senior citizens, and to being to position itself to meet the needs of seniors in the future. The County is looking for a system in which a vendor could provide the equipment, services, delivery and management of senior programming. The County is open to systems that would be implemented outside of the five county owned senior centers and/or within current centers The County is seeking information on best practices employed in cities/counties of similar size for delivery and programing models. The County is interested in ideas that respond to the changing needs and interests of older adults through alternative delivery models and approaches that provide programming.
