Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.3.1 Spiritwear Shop with a webstore Services provided by the Spiritwear store should include, but are not limited to: a. Offer a significant selection of school, office and art supplies, college and athletic department insignia wearing apparel and memorabilia, commencement caps, gowns and announcements and other items typically found in campus Spiritwear Stores. This includes supplying the Panther Arena with apparel and memorabilia on consignment. b. Provide graduation related services including providing caps and gowns for purchase and/or rent and provide services and items for purchase on the day of the graduation at the graduation site. c. Become involved in the academic, cultural, and social environment of the University, taking advantage of opportunities to offer special merchandising and/or assistance based upon the University’s ongoing and unique activities such as Artist displays/shows, Alumni Events, Intramurals, Division 1 Athletics, and student organization functions. d. Participate in the development of Spiritwear Store facilities through design expertise and financial contribution, if required. Manage and operate satellite and pop-up retail stores for Athletics, author events, etc. Currently, there are no locations on campus. 1.3.2 Virtual Textbooks/Course Materials Services provided by the virtual textbooks/course materials store should include, but are not limited it: a. Provide a timely supply, in sufficient quantities, of all required and recommended textbooks/course materials for purchase or for rental. b. Provide for the timely preparation and printing in sufficient quantities of professor-published coursepacks of readings and other course materials, including securing permission of copyright holders. c. Provide timely response to users requiring special order literature and other such material. d. Maintain price competitiveness with comparable stores in the area and with the on-line marketplace for college course materials. e. Provide support to UWM Academic Affairs in implementing an Inclusive Access program for interested colleges and access to the IA program including course materials. f. Track HEA compliance for course materials adoptions on behalf of the UWM campus. g. Participate in the development of virtual textbook facility space through design expertise and financial contribution, if required.
