Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Urban Forestry (UF) Program is soliciting bids from professional urban forestry consultants for the completion of computerized tree inventories (street/alley, parks or cemeteries), and Operations Plans in five (5) Wisconsin communities. These communities are within the counties of: Clark and Marathon (City of Colby), Oconto (Oconto Falls), Pepin (Village of Pepin), Fond Du Lac (Village of Rosendale), and Pierce (Village of Spring Valley). In the case of street or alley miles and park or cemetery acreage those numbers are provided in this document per community. Each community will have their own distinct and specific operations plan created, informed by the inventory data collected according to the street/alley, park or cemetery trees that were inventoried. A description of the inventory parameters is defined below. It is expected that the consultant will meet with the communities designated contact person prior to commencing inventory activities to gain any nuances, insights and explain the procedure and expected timeline for the inventory portion to occur.
