Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Advisory to the County Staff Project Team. b. Development of visual brand assets (logo, color palette, typography, and taglines) that are adaptable for use across various Vernon County departments including Administration, Economic Development, Parks & Recreation, Emergency Management, Health Department, Solid Waste and Recycling, Human Services, and more. The visual assets should be tied to the brand messaging that UW-Madison Extension develops. c. The selected Firm should merge the messaging assets with the visual assets to design a Brand Book that outlines how the brand works and creates design standards for future marketing and communication materials. d. Video production featuring Vernon County as an ideal place to live, work, and play. See example at: https://makeitmqt.com/why-marquette. If the Firm does not provide video production services, please include a separate cost estimate from a vendor who does. e. A community identity survey will be provided by UW-Extension to selected Firm and will be the basis for the development of the brand concept, creative elements, and the overall brand initiative. f. Along with the UW-Extension/County Staff Project Team, provide project updates to the Vernon County Economic Development Committee throughout the brand development process (4-6 meetings are anticipated). Collaboratively present the final brand concept to the County Economic Development Committee, Board of Supervisors, and Department Heads. g. It should be noted that Vernon County is in the process of a website redesign. Therefore, website creation or redesign need not be part of the proposal. Concepts and designs will be used, but not limited to, in the following ways: • Marketing Materials • Brand book design and layout • Print and electronic advertising • Social media and website design • Letterhead and business cards • Video • Vehicle decals • Event promotion and materials
