In general, the work includes installing a new pavilion at the park, installing a concrete pad for the pavilion to be placed, a concrete pad for a re-located dumpster and associated fencing, paving a 10-ft wide trail that connects the parking lot to the pavilion, installing a new cattle type fence for the overflow parking area. There will need to be some fine grading of the areas that are proposed to be paved with both asphalt and concrete restoration of all the disturbed areas. An alternate is requested for providing flagstone type stone stairs to improve access from the existing path near the proposed pavilion and existing bathroom facilities, to the river, and some pavement markings for the amended parking areas proposed. The contractor will need to coordinate with the County, as a portion of the work being completed with this overall project will be completed by County staff and is outlined in the plans.
