Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Cheyenne VAMC requires two Trans-Cranial Magnetic Stimulation Systems in accordance with the statement of need, to treat patients being seen by thier Psychiatry Service. Please find the attached solicitation with statement of need.

Background
1. Cheyenne VA Medical Center, Mental Health Clinic has a requirement to purchase this Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) machine.

Description

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. This will provide improved patient care for those where medication and psychotherapy are not effective.

Salient Characteristics:

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation System

Must have Main Voltage of at least 100-300 VAC
Must have a main frequency of 50/60 Hz
Must have a multi-touch display monitor at least 12”
Must have System with Trolley on wheels
Must weigh no more than 170kg
Must have a maximum frequency of at least 50 Hz
Must have Pulse Train Duration Range (rTMS): 0.1-30 seconds
Must have Inter-train Interval Range (rTMS): 0.1-70 seconds
Must have unlimited Maximum Trains Per Session (rTMS)
Must have a Capacitor Life Expectancy of at least: 30 million pulses
Must have a Biphasic Pulse Waveform
Must have a Half-Sine Pulse Waveform
Must have at least a 2-year device warranty or service agreement
Must have pulses per burst without roll-off
Must have Trigger Out: TTL;5v
Must have Trigger In: Open for research users
Must include an H1 Coil
Must include a stop button
Must include coil positioning system
Must include personal cap

Coil Kits required to provide treat depression

Must be able to do at least 200 pulses per session
Must be at least 15-25 Hz
Must be an active cool air coiling

Extended Annual Service

Shall begin after the base year ends, with 4 option years total.
Must include technical services within 2 business days on any machine downtime
Must include replacement of parts

Shall have a minimum of one year warranty on all parts and labor.

Shall include all manuals.

Shall include comprehensive onsite training.

Delivery

1. Delivery shall take place at 2360 east Pershing BLVD, Cheyenne, WY 82001.

Contractor delivery of equipment shall take place between the hours of 0800 -1600, Monday through Friday. Contractor shall not be required, nor is authorized to perform any work on the following U.S. Government Federal holidays:

New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
