Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Laramie, Wyoming intends to build a waterline connecting a 20" and a 24" waterline running parallel to each other southwest of Laramie. Sunrise Engineering has been hired to design this waterline and investigate the logistics for making a hot tap into the 24" pipe. The crossover pipeline will be made of 20" PVC with the necessary fittings and appurtenances. The existing waterlines are situated within an established easement traversing an open field owned by Mountain Cement Company. They are positioned beneath a raised embankment, running parallel to each other. At one juncture, the 24" pipeline veers eastward at an approximate 60-degree angle. At this juncture, both the ground and pipeline transition to a lower elevation. The field where they are located frequently accumulates significant standing water, resulting in wet and less stable ground conditions.
