Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall apply the seal coating material in a two-coat system. The first coat shall be applied at a rate of 50 square feet per gallon with a sand content of 5 pounds per gallon. The second coat shall be applied at the rate of 90 square feet per gallon with a sand content of 3 pounds per gallon. Application equipment shall provide for the required application rates and continuous blending/agitation of the seal coating product during the application process. Seal coat application shall be by self-propelled distributor truck, mechanical spray bar or wand, or squeegee machine. PARKING LOT STRIPING & CURB PAINTING - All parking lots will be repainted after being sealed, using appropriate traffic paint. Lots will be re-striped back to the original configurations unless otherwise instructed.
