Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATION/SPECIFICATION: 1. Provide recommendations and necessary specifications for the City to procure new survey-grade equipment including, but not limited to, the following: a) Rover Data Collector with map/touch screen, Microsoft Windows capabilities, and connections with Microsoft Windows and similar software which shall include wireless internet/cellular/Bluetooth capabilities and both wireless and cable data exchange to City of Casper Network. b) Multiple frequency GNSS RTK Rover Receiver unit with antenna which shall include cellular and radio connectivity/initialization, wireless Bluetooth and hardwire connection capabilities. Receiver shall have ability to connect/initialize for corrections from multiple base stations and control datums, including but not limited to: the Casper College Base Station (NGS PID D02064, CORS WYRF CASPER 2); the Casper Solid Waste Facility Base Station, and other base stations; c) GNSS RTK Multiple frequency Base Receiver with cellular and radio connectivity/initialization with wireless Bluetooth and hardwire connection capabilities. d) Robotic total station with prism/pole with wireless Bluetooth and hardwire connection capabilities to Rover Data Collector and Receivers. e) Hardware for all new equipment (and for person and vehicle use) including, but not limited to, poles, bypods/tripods, mounts/quick releases, protective cases/sleeves/bags, ergonomic carrying devices, all to have disassemble capabilities for ease of transport and storage. 2. Interface and software to integrate with City’s most current version of AutoCad Civil 3D including, but not limited to, surfaces/digital terrain models (cuts, fills, etc.), points, 2D polylines, 3D feature lines, alignments, wayfinding, profiles, sections, corridors, aerials, etc. 3. Consultant shall recommend and specify necessary software, programs, or AutoCad Civil 3D extension tools needed for pre/post processing, transformations, and applications from office to field and vice versa. 4. This Equipment Recommendation/Specification Scope of work will require, but not be limited to, a kick-off meeting with Consultant and City Engineering; a draft procurement specification submission with cost estimate for City Engineering review and comment; and a final submission to include with procurement bidding. B. ANALYSIS/STUDY: 1. Provide an analysis/study to determine all necessary steps and costs to make the Casper Solid Waste Facility Base Station location an NGS CORS station. 2. Provide an analysis/study to determine viability of a base station located at the Casper Business Center, 123 W 1st St in Casper, WY and a base station located at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper, WY. The analysis/study shall consider both stand-alone permanent base stations and repeater permanent base station networks. 3. This Anaylysis/Study Scope of work will require, but not be limited to, a kick-off meeting with Consultant and City Engineering; a draft analysis/study submission for City Engineering review and comment; and a final submission.
