The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Construction of ARSENIC TREATMENT SYSTEM AND WELLS 1, 2 AND 4 UPGRADES
PROJECTS PH15-U66 & PH22-W30; WA01-24
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation’s Purchasing/Contracts Department located at 17661 East Yavapai Road Fort McDowell, AZ 85264 within the Fort McDowell Reservation, until Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM MST. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation’s Purchasing/Contracts Department in the Tribal Headquarters Conference Room located at 17661 East Yavapai Road Fort McDowell, AZ 85264.
The Project includes the following Work:
The installation of one centralized granular iron media (GIM) arsenic adsorption water treatment system (ATS) at well site 4 that blends water from four wells, construction of a new 100,000 gallon water storage tank at well site 4, modification of water lines to combine well 1 & 2 to well 3 & 4, pump upgrades to booster station pump at well site 4 to serve both zone 1 and 2, installation of backwash handling system for ATS that includes a holding tank, PCL and electrical control/power upgrades at well site 4, and well site 4 expansion of additional 111ft x 82ft area to the south to accommodate ATS and new tank, along with a new site wall. Additional well rehabilitation work at well site 1 and 2 includes well header replacement, soft start upgrades, electrical and instrumentation replacement, and flood protection upgrades to site.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: PH15-U66 & PH22-W30; WA01-24, Construction of Arsenic Treatment System and Wells 1, 2 and 4 Upgrades.
The Project has an expected duration of 450 days.

Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd at 9:00 AM at the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation’s Environmental Department Building, 17721 East Yavapai Road, Fort McDowell, AZ 85264. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
