The work for the Lindsay Tract and Birch Street Main Renewal Project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2,040 linear feet of 8-Inch cement lined and dielectrically coated steel pipe, and 4,670 linear feet of 8-Inch PVC pipe; appurtenances; installation of service laterals, meter boxes, fire hydrants, air vacuum valve and assemblies, cathodic protection system; pressure and leakage testing; disinfection; system connections (closure) to the existing water mains; removal of existing pipelines; and restoration of the existing landscaping and surfaces to their original condition. The work for the B16 WTP 2 Zone 3 Booster Discharge Pipeline Replacement consists of furnishing and installing approximately 100 linear feet of 12-inch fusion-bonded lined and coated epoxy steel pipe; surge assembly; pressure and leakage testing, disinfection, installation of system connections (closures) to pump piping and water main, removal of existing steel pipes and appurtenances, and restoration of the existing landscaping, surfaces, fences, and drainage systems to their original condition.

Sealed proposals to construct Lindsay Tract and Birch Street Main Renewal B16 WTP 2 Zone 3 Booster Discharge Pipeline Replacement Projects will be received by the District Secretary of the Alameda County Water District at its offices, 43885 South Grimmer Boulevard, Fremont, California 94538, until closing time of 2:00 p.m., California local time, on July 10, 2024. Immediately thereafter all proposals received will be publicly opened and read by the District Secretary. All bidding submissions should comply with the requirements in the Contract Documents.
