The work in the City of Union City consists of furnishing and installing approximately 1,000 linear feet of 8-inch diameter PVC pipe including appurtenances, approximately 2,720 linear feet of 8-inch diameter steel pipe including appurtenances; installation of service laterals and meter boxes; fire hydrant assemblies; blow off assembly; air valves and gate valves; cathodic protection system; disinfection, testing and final system connection (closures) to existing main and pavement restoration. The work in the City of Newark consists of furnishing and installing approximately 400 linear feet of 8-inch diameter PVC pipe including appurtenances, approximately 500 linear feet of 8-inch diameter steel pipe including appurtenances; installation of service laterals and meter boxes; fire hydrant assemblies; blow off assembly; air valves and gate valves; cathodic protection system; disinfection, testing and final system connection (closures) to existing main and pavement restoration.

Sealed proposals to construct the Main Renewal - Dairy Avenue and H Street Project will be received by the District Secretary of the Alameda County Water District at its offices, 43885 South Grimmer Boulevard, Fremont, California 94538, until closing time of 11:30 a.m., California local time, on July 31, 2024. Immediately thereafter all proposals received will be publicly opened and read by the District Secretary. All bidding submissions should comply with the requirements in the Contract Documents.
