NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS
WASHINGTON PARK FUTSAL COURTS
RFB 23-04
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:
That the City Clerk, on behalf and as authorized by the City of Escondido, will accept sealed bids for this Washington Park Futsal Court Project (“Project”). A sealed bid must be clearly marked with the name of the Project and time-stamped at the City Clerk’s Office, 201 N. Broadway, 2d Floor, Escondido, CA 92025, before 2 p.m. on 27th day of July, 2023, to be considered timely. Bidder assumes the risk that mailed bids will be promptly delivered to the City Clerk and time-stamped prior to the deadline. For sealed bids being hand delivered, please check in at the City Hall concierge desk, the concierge will check you in and direct you to drop off the sealed bid at the City Clerk’s Public Counter where it will be time stamped. The bid opening will be held in person in the Park View Room after the closing of the bid period. Seating is limited. The Park View Room is located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall at 201 N. Broadway, Escondido, CA. 92025.
A mailed bid shall be double wrapped with an external shipping envelope that contains the separately sealed bid documents. The shipping envelope will be opened upon receipt. The shipping envelope of a mailed bid should be addressed as follows:

The City reserves the right to reject any bid that does not follow the exact procedures provided in this Notice.
. Project Description
The work consists generally of, but not limited to, construction including; the removal of existing tennis net posts, the construction of 5’ wide sidewalk, the installation of the flooring surface and providing and installing the Musco futsal court kit, or approved equal.
This contract allows twenty (20) Working Days for completion of all work
The Engineer’s estimate of probable costs for base bid work to total project work (Base bid plus additive alternates) is between $190,000 to $210,000.
The Prime Contractor on this project shall have a Class A - General Engineering contractor’s license from the State of California. The Prime Contractor shall perform 51% or more of all contract Work.
