The City of Oceanside (“The City”) serves a population of approximately 171,000 residents. The City’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system monitors and controls equipment throughout the entire City, for both Drinking and Wastewater services. The City owns, operates, and maintains a SCADA system consisting of: Wonderware System Platform 2014R2, GE IFix, Schneider Electric Trio Radios, Wonderware Enterprise Historian, SQL Management studio, HachWims, Win911, TopView, and Thin Manager Server. The City uses Schneider Electric Modicon Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) programmed with Unity Pro. The City also has a few legacy Allen-Bradley PLCs.
The City of Oceanside is soliciting proposals for qualified SCADA Integration firms (Consultant) for As Needed SCADA System Support Services for three years, with an option for two, one-year renewals. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to develop a fair and reasonable price guarantee for quality and prompt, reliable service from the selected Consultant. The City reserves the right to request new proposals for services at any time.
