909123100722A - Request for Proposals for Construction Management and Inspection Services

The City of Oceanside (“City” or “Agency”) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management (CM) and Inspection Services for construction of the San Luis Rey Water Reclamation Facility (SLRWRF) Cleaning of Digesters No. 1 and No. 5 and Valve Replacements. The work to be done during construction is defined in the Construction Bid Documents attached to this RFP, generally 
consisting of:
1. Cleaning, removal, and legal disposal of the remaining contents of Digester No. 1 and Digester No. 5 after the City empties a portion of each tank
2. Replacement of existing valves on sludge piping for Digester No. 1
3. Replacement of existing valves on gas piping for Digester No. 1
4. Replacement of existing pressure/vacuum relief valves with flame arresters on
gas piping for Digester No. 1
5. Assisting the City with access needed to perform a condition assessment of
Digester No. 1 once cleaning is complete
6. Additive bid items that may be authorized to repair or replace coatings on interior
roof and interior piping of Digester No. 1
