Scope of Work: This project consists of 2 separate storm drain repair projects throughout the City of Oceanside. These projects are the a) Strawberry Place Storm Drain Lining Project; and b) El Camino Storm Drain Repair Project. All two storm drain projects are being combined into one solicitation for bid.
Scope of Work for Strawberry Place: The Strawberry Place Storm drain Slip Lining Project includes but not limited to slip lining an 18” storm drain down a drainage easement through a landscaped embankment from Strawberry Place to Barnard Drive. The project includes slip lining the manholes, inlets, rebuilding curb inlets, and restoring the surrounding areas damaged to perform the Work. The project is approximately 190 feet long. The project will also include restoration of the slope, hardscape and landscape damaged during the performance of the work as detailed in Section 8: Special Provisions.
Scope of Work for El Camino SD Repair: Excavation and repair of an 18in corrugated metal storm drain pipe in the north bound lanes of El Camino Real. Work hours for this project will be at night, with work commencing no sooner than 10 PM and ending by 6 AM. Current assessment indicates approximately 10ft of pipeline has failed. In addition, repairs to the outfall section of RCP are required. Alternate bid item to provide slip lining of the existing CMP is also included. Project includes all temporary traffic control measures, including additional essential night work controls, excavation and backfill of associated area and permanent asphalt repair including necessary striping. The project will also include restoration of the slope, hardscape and landscape damaged during the performance of the work as detailed in Section 8: Special Provisions.
