Description

The City of Santa Clarita (the “City”) invites qualified firms to submit proposals to provide consulting services for the 2021 update of the Old Town Newhall Specific Plan (OTNSP). The City seeks a qualified firm to update the OTNSP document so the plan can continue to guide revitalization of Newhall over the next 20 years. The plan needs to be revised to provide clearer development standards and to address Newhall’s changing needs. Currently, property owners and developers rely on staff interpretation for development projects. Development standards that are more clearly-defined would help property and business owners better understand the development objectives for Old Town Newhall, and provide a better idea of the type of development their property could support.
