Description

The work to be done consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by specifications and contract documents. The general scope of work consists of removing all loose material from surficial slope; installation of keyway and installation of a Miragrid 2XT uniaxial geogrids by Tencate Mirafi (or geogrid with equal or greater MARV tensile strength in the principle direction) as indicated in the geotechnical report (Appendix A); remove and relocate the soils at toe of slope and use as backfill material; site clean-up and restoration. All earthwork activity shall be accomplished under the observation of the project engineer or authorized representatives in accordance with the recommendations contained in the soils report. Upon restoration of the slope, the slope will have to be hydroseeded.
