2025-02 - COMMERCIAL STREET IMPROVEMENTS FOR SPRINGDALE AVENUE, WAKEMAN STREET AND JOHN ST

Bids must be prepared using the proposal forms stamped “Official Bid” in red ink, in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders, and submitted electronically on PlanetBids, at https://pbsystem.planetbids.com/portal/65093/portal-home.   Plans and Specifications must be obtained by the City of Santa Fe Springs through PlanetBids – no other company or agency has granted authorization to sell, duplicate or transfer Contract documents. Bid Proposals received from a company not on the official plan holders list posted to a link available from the City’s website shall not be accepted.

The Bid must INCLUDE a certified or cashier's check, or bidder's bond, made payable to the City of Santa Fe Springs as AGENCY, for an amount no less than ten (10) percent of the amount bid.  A labor and materials bond and performance bond are prerequisites before contract execution, in the form and amount outlined in the contract documents.

The successful bidder shall be licensed under provisions of the Business and Professions Code and shall possess a valid California State Contractor's License “ A” at the time the contract is awarded. The successful Contractor and all subcontractors will also be required to possess business licenses from the City of Santa Fe Springs before the commencement of work.
