PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Santa Fe Spring as AGENCY, invites sealed bids for the above-stated project and will receive such bids in the City Clerk’s Office, City of Santa Fe Springs, 11710 Telegraph Road, Santa Fe Springs, California 90670, until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Bids will be publicly opened and read at 11:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, located at 11710 Telegraph Road, Santa Fe Springs on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Bidders or their authorized agents are invited to be present for the opening of bids.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans and Specifications. The general items of work include, but is not limited to, asphalt concrete removal and replacement, concrete longitudinal gutter removal and replacement, PCC driveway, curb & gutter, sidewalk removal and replacement, earthwork, grading, importing and exporting base, clearing and grubbing, and painting address numbers.
The Contractor must complete 100% of the construction improvements at each alley segment prior to starting the construction of the next segment. The alley segments correspond to the construction plans and are as follows:
- Segment 1 - Alley 1A, 1B, 1C
- Segment 2 – Alley 2A, 2B
- Segment 3 – Alley 2C, 2C-1, 2D
- Segment 4 – Alley 3A, 3B
The Contractor will be required to provide resident vehicle access via the alley segments throughout the entire duration of construction activities. At least one of the alley driveways must allow for residential vehicles access throughout the duration of the project. The Contractor will provide a temporary driveway access ramp at each alley entry/exit segments.
