Description

The City of Solana Beach has the need for on-call, as-needed general engineering and land surveying consultant support services. In past years, the city has primarily managed the engineering tasks using in-house staff with specialized support from the consulting community for large design projects. Due to workload and staffing issues, the City is seeking assistance in managing some of the Engineering Department’s tasks.

Background: Provide a description of your firm's background and qualifications to perform on-call, as-needed engineering consultant services as-detailed in the request for qualifications and associated scope of work.
2. Firm's Experience: Provide a list of similar on-call, as-needed general engineering contracts that your firm has completed on behalf of similarly situated clients (local agencies) in the past five (5) years. Include the name and contact information for each the local agency.
3. Staff’s Experience: Provide resumes describing the qualifications of the staff who will be working on this project. Provide a list of similar projects and clients that your proposed staff has completed in the past five (5) years.
4. Project Understanding: Provide a complete scope of work required to perform the work associated with this work. Modify the enclosed Preliminary Scope of Work, Exhibit A, as necessary.
5. Fee Proposal: Include a current fee schedule that indicates the standard fees for the various positions in the firm.
